Paws to Read
Johnny Claude the Listener Dog is coming to the Hampstead Public Library on Monday, December 9th from 4:00 to 5:30PM.
He is a certified therapy dog who loves to listen to kids read, tell stories, or act out a book.
The Paws to Read program is terrific for reluctant readers of any age. He and his person, Gretchen, will be at the library to listen to kids do their thing. He’s a wonderful audience because he’s totally non-judgmental and won’t correct pronunciation or anything else. Adults are also welcome to visit with Johnny Claude.
Please sign up your child at the front desk or call the library at 329-6411 to set up a fifteen minute session with Johnny Claude the Listener Dog.
